At twilight one evening I passed by this defunct restaurant on my way to one that wasn’t. I was intrigued by the combination of natural and artificial light. And it was a good excuse to do a painting in two parts with the added challenge of how to deal with a large area in a contemporary fashion. This is a great piece for the special collector with a big space.
Original Oil painting on panel, 48” x 66”. Purchase this painting framed or unframed. Custom floater frames are made from Poplar and Pine with a natural polyurethane finish. Frame adds an inch to each dimension.
